I wish we had more interesting lives…But, let’s be honest…Tyler and I don’t do much these days. We mainly just work, go to school (him), and watch tv…. So, in turn, we don’t have much to blog about.
I know not many people even read this thing, but I feel that it’s our duty to blog up a storm since my mom and sister are so bad at it! Just kidding…But, please write more often, guys?…Plus, I will admit that I am a major blog stalker… So, keeping up with our blog makes me seem a little less creepy…Right?
Anyway, here are a few websites that I (Erika, Tyler has nothing to do with this stalker-like post) have been stalking lately:
1- The Nie Nie Recovery
I check up on this topic every single day. In a nut shell, Stephanie (also known as Nie Nie) and her husband, Christian, were in a terrible plane crash on August 16th. They are both in critical condition. The part that tugs my heart strings the most is that they have 4 kids who are now being taken care of by Nie’s sisters.
I know, I didn’t do a very good job summing all of that up…But, you can read all about the couple on these blogs:
http://blog.cjanerun.com/ -C Jane (Nie’s sister)…She keeps everyone updated on the kids and how Stephanie and Christian are doing.
http://www.nieniedialogues.blogspot.com/ -Nie’s actual blog. If you go back a few pages, you can see just what an amazing mother she is.
http://www.nierecovery.com/ – The recovery site.
2- Mmm, food.
I’m not that big of a chef (as you have heard), but browsing through this website has made me realize that maybe (just maybe) it isn’t such a hassle after all.
3- Shoes, shoes, shoes.
Being newly married, I don’t exactly have all the money in the world to go spend on shoes (dang) so this website *sort of* fills that void for me.
4- Help a Nanny out?
Lately I have been a little obsessed about finding new activities to do with Jonathan. He’s pretty different than most little boys I’ve ever been around, so it’s hard to find activities that he actually wants to do (who doesn’t like to finger paint? Come on…)
Luckilly, this website has been pretty helpful.
If you have any other ideas that a not-so-normal 4 year old would like to do, PLEASE send them my way!
Of course there are a lot of other websites I like to “stalk” but, Tyler thinks he can beat me at playing Tony Hawk, so I’ve gotta go.
P.S. I’ve officially won the title of the “#1 Blog Stalker”, I think. (Also proof that we don’t really do much these days..haha)
